| Tell us about what you offer at ‘Make A Diaper Cake’? |

I offer instructions on how to make diaper and towel cakes. I have taught over 5,000 women and some men how to make them and/or start a business, or for the crafty people that would like to make a gift for family and friends. MADC offer’s a full membership, or ebooks and a paperback book to help you make the perfect cake for any occasion. | ||
| How did you come up with the idea for your business? |

| I sold wholesale cakes to women who owned gift basket business’s. After I closed down my diaper cake business, the women asked if I could teach them how to make my cakes and they would pay me to do so…. So MADC was born. But what I found was many people wanted to make them as a gift and some wanted to learn how they could start a business making cakes. My site just grew from this point. | |||
| What was your main motivation behind starting your own business? |

| To help other’s make the prefect diaper or towel cake. | |||
| Achieving work life balance is always tough for a mother with a business. How do you plan your day? What are your time management tips for mothers with businesses who are trying to juggle work and home lives? |

Well I still work a part time job as a merchandiser too, lol.. I run on a schedule, I always have. I cannot do with out it. My kids are older now so that helps. I have a set time when the kids get home from school and dinner must be made I’m not on my computer and it’s family time. | ||
| You also have an online magazine. Where would you like your online magazine business to be in a year’s time? | |||
| Well, in all honesty the magazine is coming down and I will be podcasting about the business, which will be interactive with members and vendor’s. | |||
| What are the most valuable lessons you have learned over time? |

| Patience and determination. Nothing happens overnight and if you love what you do the money will follow. | |||
