	What-to-buy-them.com is a place that will end all your shopping nightmares. How simple!Will joining and creating your profile you can create a wish list for every occasion (in a few days you will also be able to customize your profile page)When you have created your profile page and wish lists then you can invite your friends and family to do the same (there is a link for this) Also for each friend and family that joins you receive points and the first to reach 500 gets £50 ($100). There you can create your kids “letter to Santa” which then you can send invites to close family also to come and join so they can get the right gift. Soon there will also be the facility to upload your video “thank you” or message to the friends and family members who have bought you that gift (especially handy when it comes to WEDDING Presents and those Thank You notes you can send this way instead) And the party planner will be on board soon so you can create and invite and organize your friends and family parties…surprise parties etc all in one place.

Tell us some of the obstacles you faced in getting the business off the ground and getting up and running?

Obstacles I mainly faced were financial as I already had the web company in mind but the cost…and ongoing !!! But I was determined that this was the way forward. I recently watched the “Secret” and read the book and I KNOW THIS SITE WILL BE A SUCCESS!!


Did you have a business plan when you started out?

I had no business plan…just an idea as at the moment, although registered as a dormant ltd company, I am not making any money from this site and only hope to recover the amount I paid as this is not the reason the site was founded…but any revenue will be appreciated.


How do you balance raising kids and running a business? Any time management tips?

I work from home with my job anyway and luckily all balance nicely as I am in theat mode all day!!


Finally, if you had to offer advice to anyone planning to start a new business what advice would you give them?

My advice to anyone venturing out to begin …if you have a idea you believe in…that gut feeling that it is the right feeling. if your pocket book can take a beating but you truly believe that the idea you have will benefit all and go for it The feeling when you see that website up and running and being created and the excitement you get when a new member signs up or someone like dotcommothers ask to do a feature on you is a feeling you like no other.
